Once it was the Berlin Wall. Now it’s the longest open-air gallery in the world.
At 1,3 km long, the East Side Gallery is one of Berlin’s most popular sights. After the fall of the wall, 118 artists from all around the globe rushed to Berlin, leaving a visual testimony of the joy and spirit of liberation which erupted at the time.
One of the best ways to experience the murals is on bike, whether alone or with a cycle tour is up to you.
